Lions Head Tandem Paragliding
Because of the absolute beauty of this location and its ease of access, Lion's Head is most popular flying site and is used throughout our summer flying season.
Flying from here requires a 15 to 30 minute walk to one of our two launch sites, so be prepared and bring lots of fluid with you.
The site requires a South to South West wind but in summer we are able to fly in the lee of the mountain with the South Easter being blocked by Table Mountain.
Flight time from Lion's Head can range from 10 minutes to 30 minutes depending on the conditions on the day. We have no control of the duration for the flight and it is completely weather dependent, therefore the price of the flight is not dependent on the flight duration.
We land on a grass field located at La Med Bar on front of the Glen Country Club between Clifton Beach and Camps Bay.
