Hermanus Tandem Paragliding

Hermanus is a seaside town southeast of Cape Town, in South Africa’s Western Cape Province. It's known as a whale-watching destination. Beaches include Voëlklip Beach and the broad Grotto Beach, overlooking Walker Bay.

Hermanus is better known for its whale festival but the paragliding is exceptional.
The down side of this famous and beautiful site is that it is over 1 hour drive from Cape Town and we therefore need to form a group party of four passengers to make the trip viable for all concerned.
We do charge a trip fee per person should you decide to fly in Hermanus and require us to transfer you to & from this site.
We fly all year round at Hermanus in the SW to SE wind direction. The launch site is located on the ridge behind the town of Hermanus and we are able to soar at this location like a bird and top land next to where we take off from.
We do have an alternative landing field in the school grounds at Hermanus and make use of this if we cannot stay up or if we have to land at the bottom.

Instructional Tandem Paragliding in Cape Town is likened to a paradigm shift unlike anything else you have ever experienced. Tandem Paragliding is fun and easy, and prior to your flight we will give you a briefing which is safety orientated and will ensure a great take off, flight and landing.
Instructional Tandem Paragliding is fun and easy!!
